Including but not limited to; drainage calculations, industrial waste storage, and <br /> ground water protection. <br /> • Proper permitting of spray booth. <br /> • Board of Health recommendations. <br /> • Plumbing Inspector to determine floor drains. <br /> Rodney Collins, Town Manager <br /> Rodney mentioned that the business should not be operating because there is no permit with the Fire <br /> Department. He asked Mr. Morra if the owner of the building was aware of the business. Mr. Morra <br /> said; yes. <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director: <br /> Catherine asked if there was another entrance because the plan did not look accurate. <br /> Rodney made a motion to table the application. Evan seconded. <br /> Dave took a roll call vote. Chief Carline, abstained. Evan yes, Drew yes, Catherine, yes, Deputy <br /> Phelan, yes, Christine, yes, Rodney yes, and Dave yes. All were in favor. <br /> Discussion: <br /> Evan told the applicant that there should be a discussion with Deputy Phelan, Fire Department, and <br /> Dave Morris, Building Commissioner, and the plumbing inspector to discuss the floor drains and if <br /> the floor needs to be torn up. <br /> 9:30 AM Project Address: 44 Falmouth Rd. <br /> Business Name: Fashion Foods (d.b.a.Wendy's) <br /> Owner/Agent: Usama Elsehrawey, Terry Smiley <br /> Architect/Engineer: Gary Sadler, Upland Architects <br /> Request: Renovation to existing commercial building, A-2 <br /> Assembly(commercial fast food restaurant), and existing <br /> convenience store to remain), 70 sq. ft. sign on building and reface <br /> existing monument sign. <br /> Mr. Gary Sadler, Architect represented the application for the Wendy's restaurant. Also present was <br /> the Owner, Terry Smiley. The proposal is to occupy the former location occupied by the Honey Dew <br /> restaurant. The convenience store will remain. The site and floor plans were provided as well as a <br /> color rendering of the proposed restaurant. They will be adding an exterior cooler on the side of the <br /> existing building, and some improvements to the site. They will be improving the impervious area <br /> where the cooler will be located, and also on the drive-thru side of the building. They will be adding <br /> extra parking spaces that will exceed the bylaw requirements. The lot will be restriped as <br /> recommended by the Design Review committee, and will improve and maintain the landscaping. <br /> Once permitted and occupied, the building will look brand new. <br /> 3 <br />
