Mr. Harrington commented that the following actions are completed or <br /> ongoing: <br /> • Monitored epidemiological data from the MA Department of Public Health and Barnstable <br /> County Department of Health& Environment <br /> • Participated in twice weekly webinars with the Department of Public Health, weekly <br /> conference calls with the Cape Cod Health Agents"Coalition,and weekly virtual meetings with <br /> the Cape Cod Vaccine Subcommittee <br /> • Communicated daily with the Mashpee Schools' District Nurse Coordinator..the VNA,and the <br /> Community Tracing Collaborative {CTC) regarding new cases, contact tracing, clusters, and <br /> trends <br /> • Scheduled weekly check-in calls with the VNA and the CTC to go over cases and exposure <br /> information <br /> • Provided updated case numbers to the public safety answering point and the Town Manager's <br /> Office <br /> • Responded to many calls from the public inquiring about when and where to receive the <br /> COVID-19 vaccine, how to determine close contacts,and where to get tested for COVID-19 <br /> • Communicated with long-term care facilities regarding isolation and quarantine, contact <br /> tracing,vaccinations, and PPE protocols <br /> • Communicated with the Tribal Health Center regarding positive COVID-19 patients <br /> • Advised Mashpee businesses regarding employee positives, deep cleaning, and contact <br /> tracing <br /> • Updated the Mashpee COVID-19 webpage with new information, including the new COVID- <br /> 19 Help Line for people to call with questions about the COVID-19 vaccine and testing (774- <br /> 330-3001) <br /> • Stayed up-to-date on the extension of the temporary capacity restrictions until February 8th, <br /> hospital staffing guidance, statewide vaccine distribution efforts, local vaccine clinics, new <br /> COVID-19 variants,VA vaccination efforts,and changes to the flu vaccination requirement for <br /> students <br /> • Monitored updates regarding the statewide COVID-19 vaccine rollout, including prioritization <br /> order, CDC recommended screening questions,, PrepMod scheduling software,and protocols <br /> for ordering vaccine <br /> • Discussed COVID-19 vaccination planning with the Director of the Council on Aging, and <br /> planned for COA staff to assist with registering the senior population during Phases 2 and 3 <br /> • Advised the District Nurse Coordinator regarding close contacts that were previously positive <br /> for COVID-19 <br /> • Notified Mashpee food establishments of the extension of the temporary capacity restrictions <br /> through January 24th,and then subsequently through February 8th <br /> • Notified Mashpee food establishments of the cancelling of the mandatory early closure of <br /> businesses effective January 25th I <br /> • Referred nursing volunteers for COVID-19 vaccination clinics to Barnstable County <br /> • Participated in training for PrepMod, the appointment scheduling application utilized for <br /> COVID-19 vaccine clinics <br /> • Coordinated with the Town Clerk and Town Planner to' determine the number of Mashpee <br /> residents over the age of 65 and 75 for vaccination planning purposes <br /> 2 <br />
