Both Chris and GHD indicate
that they are not ready for this meeting, so a special meeting will have to be called when
they are done.
Mr. Fudala talked about creating a subcommittee with 2 members from GHD, 2 members
from Town, and 1 commissioner to review pre-qualified contractors.
Rodney Collins will ask Ernie Virgilio to represent the Town with Chris Gallagher.
- Town Meeting Article(s) needed for easement takings?
If needed, has to be submitted by the end of August.
Mr. Lyons asked how the Town handled putting water in Summerwood.
Mr. Fudala said it was not the town, it was the water district and an easement was taken
over the entire property.
Chris Gallagher said we should do a blanket taking and waiver of appraisal so zero dollar
taking. $54 million article includes easements, so no need for a town meeting. If money
is required, then yes, we'd have to go to town meeting.
