Bereavement Leave language is changed from "calendar days" to "business days" Two (2) <br /> Vacation days can be exchanged for two (2) Personal days during the fiscal year in hourly <br /> increments. Language changes inserted to reflect Charter changes. <br /> 4. DPW SEIU Unit B—Total cost=$22,565 <br /> This CBA covers highway and grounds staff. Cost of living adjustments are 2%, 2% and 2%. Step <br /> #1 is eliminated and a new Step 11 is established at rate 2% above the old Step 10. A provision <br /> has been included that the Town Mechanic "may" be called in during weather emergencies <br /> instead of"shall" be called in. "Sick leave" buy-back at retirement changes with minimum of 20 <br /> years of service and 480 hours, resulting in one for two versus one for three. Bereavement <br /> language changes from "within 14 days of death" to same or "at discretion of the Town." <br /> Employees can exchange up to two vacation days to two personal days. Minor adjustments are <br /> made to longevity pay and 5 years of service and 25 years of service are abolished for future <br /> employees. Increases are approved for uniforms and protective gear. <br /> The total cost for all four (4) units is $134,418. This resolves all outstanding collective bargaining MOAs <br /> for the next three years.This further focuses on keeping Mashpee employees in the Cape Cod median in <br /> terms of wages. <br />
