He advised the <br /> Board that the department had gone over budget by roughly $3GK. C[)V|D funds were added 10 <br /> the 2O228OH budget, but they are not yet available. VVe are actively seeking funding sources to <br /> make up the deficit,tminclude C(3V|D funds that the County has reallocated from other Towns, <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review and approval of meeting minutes. There were no minutes prepared for review, <br /> 1 Review and approval of expense warrants, There were no expense warrants for review. <br /> 3. Review ofCompliance—88 Lakeside Estates. Mr. Harrington commented that, on June 2, 2O2I' <br /> the Board of Health was contacted by John Dwyer,who stated that he had recently purchased the <br /> dwelling at #88 Lakeside Estates and was requesting a housing inspection. Health Agents <br /> performed the inspection according to the State Sanitary Code, Chapter 11, Minimum Standards of <br /> Fitness for Human Habitation. Mr. Dwyer was present for the inspection and granted access to <br /> the dwelling. Multiple violations were observed, including that the dwelling had no toilet, no <br /> potable water supply, no furnace orother heat source and no electrical service, as well as three <br /> other violations that have the potential to endanger or materially impair the health or safety and <br /> well-being of the occupants, <br /> Based on the results ofthe inspection, it was determined that the danger to the life or health of <br /> theoccupantsisimrnediate, anda0ndingthat1hedvve||ingis "unfitforhunnanhabitation" vvas <br /> issued. On June 10, 2021, an Order to Secure was sent to Mr. Dwyer via First Class and Certified <br /> Mail, and a condemnation notice was posted at the property. The property owner has one year <br /> from the date of posting to bring the dwelling into compliance with the rnininnmno standards set <br /> forth in the 105 CQqR 410.000. If compliance is not met within thattirnefrarne, the Board can <br /> cause the dwelling tobe demolished mrremoved. <br /> Mr. Harrington reported that there has been no contact from the property owner since the June <br /> 2nu inspection. At this time, the Board should vote whether or not to affirm the Emergency <br /> Condemnation. <br /> ChairBau0gaerte1 inquired who the seller was, and Mr. Harrington answered that K4EZ Realty <br /> was the previous owner but there was a rea|torinvu|ved. <br /> There being no further comments or discussion, Kripani Patel moved to affirm the Emergency <br /> Condemnation at88 Lakeside Estates.
