ty
Applicant: - Earl Mills, Sr.
Location: Rte. 130 opposite Cotuit road
Request: Continuation of Public Hearing to review the
Definitive Flan for a 10-lot subdivision.
Letter of extension to May 19, 1989 .
Judy Mills stepped down.
Robert Mills was present representing the applicant. '
He stated that the modifications of the intersection were
sent to Ernie virgillio, DPW and he did not have difficulty
with them.
Tom stated his concern that they should close off old
utility access because it creates a problem at the
intersection,
Tony thought the other issue was that the intersection be
shown relative to the lot delineation?
Tom thought Mike McGrath was going to prepare actual taking
plan?
Tony explained to the -applicant that the completion of the 7
intersection is paramount to the safety of the subdivision.
The Town will do everything they can, but they must go
through a taking process. They need a drawing of what they
must take and further design standards and delineation of
lot. '
Mr. Mills stated that in his conversation with Mr. McGrath
he said he had no intention of doing a complete delineation
of the lot because of the expense involved.
Tony asked if they were then implying that the Town must
bear the full burden to make access to subdivision safe?
Tom stated that it is their opinion the applicant should
share in the cost.
Robert Mills said he will discuss this issue and how it can
be resolved with the applicant who in turn will speak to Mr.
McGrath about this issue.
The Board requested that Mr. McGrath and Mr. Earl Mills come
to the next hearing.
The Board asked Mr. Mills to contact Mr. Virgillio about
= what specific technical information he will need to F
construct the improvements.
Scott made a motion to accept the applicants request to
extend to June 30th, 1989 and continue the hearing to June
7th at 8 : 45. Louise seconded the motion. All other Board
members were in favor.
