John Halachis stated he feels this proposal should be considered on its own individual merits . .The Chairman expressed her concern with possible future (unauthorized) clearing of the open space and movement of the tree limo, and protecting the integrity of the open space. She stated she would need more time to- consider this proposal, and that she is leaning more towards a negative decision. The Chairman advised Mr. Westman to provide documentation to support his claim that the proposed addition could not feasibly be relocated. It was agreed that Mr. Westman would appear before the Board on October 5, 2005, at which time the Planning Board would give direction as to a conceptual approval, to be followed by the Subdivision Plan Public Hearing process. Lee Gurney reiterated her concern and reluctance t approve the proposal based upon the principle of open space remaining open space. Mr. Megathlin suggested Planning Board approval for the name "Charles Street"' . Charles being Mr. Talanian' first name and an appropriate tribute to his contributions o the community.
