The I-C Overlay District allows addition uses
beyond industrial and office space, retail uses that
generate low impact traffic and other similar uses.. Hotel
use would also be -allowed.
The selectmen do not support this Article, as they do
not want commercial businesses so close to Great Neck Road
South, or residential areas.
Public Comment
Attorney John Bidman, representing Charlie Rogers,
landowner - This Article will be indefinitely postponed,
negotiations with the Town will be ongoing as the
Petitioner understands the importance of town -wide support.
This was proposed as a companion article to # 4.
(There was no further public comment.)
Article # - Refers to the provision in the Zoning
Bylaw whereby existing Special Permits can be modified.
This would allow the area covered by a cluster subdivision
or multi -family development previously approved by the
Planning Board to be expanded, provided there is no
increase in the number of dwelling units allowed by the
Special Permit or any decrease in the protected open space.
0
