The Town Planner suggested the Board consider a
reduction of said $45,000.00 based upon work that has
already been completed.
Mr. Megathlin stated he is pleased to learn that
Eastern Bank intends to make a partial improvement. He
noted however, that there is no mention of improvements to
the parting area in front of the hardware store.
Mr. Megathlin suggested the amount of the surety be
reduced to 2 oo.00 $ 000.00.
r. Rowley suggested the DPW Director verify the
figures for the Planning Board in order to avoid a
conflict, as he has been assisting the Bank in this matter.
The Town Planner acknowledged that the fees have been
paid. He asked for evidence that the special Permit
Modification had been recorded.
The Town Planner made reference to Condition #2 which
requires detailed'ite Plan and Building Elevation drawings
be submitted to the Planning Board for review and approval.
The Design Review Committee has reviewed and -approved the
overall protect.
The Town Planner suggested this Condition be modified
to include Buildings C and D with the understanding that
Applicant will appear before the Design Review Committee
for comments on the exterior details for sub fission to the
Planning Board.
Mr. Rowley suggested further details on the -site Plan
addressing surface runoff with regard to the incorporation
of brick paring, patios, walking areas, and other details.
r. Rowley explained he is concerned about the
immediate areas adjacent to the buildings. As you proceed
away from Route 28 the grade of the ground rises slightly,
there are 1i.ttle steps in the contours of the ground and
steps in the elevations of the floors. Due to these
conditions some transition areas are needed. Because the
buildings are going to be close together, he needs to
review the details.
