With reference to the treatment plant <br />road, ac.cordi'ng to the plan, the slope treatment was <br />supposed to have been gran-s shoulders. Applicant has done <br />a good job of providing stone chips, but there is no grass. <br />Mr. Rowley then asked if Applicant had any intention <br />to hydroseed (vegetation to hold the soil in place) <br />underneath the power line where all of the construction <br />trailers had been located. <br />When asked by the Chairman, Mr. Rowley explained that <br />grass planted along the. shoulders of the road at the <br />treatment plant) would have prevented any further e-ros-ion , <br />Stone has been pushed up onto the -bank, on both sides, for <br />protection. He suggested that perhaps more stone in some <br />areas are needed in order to completely protect the soil. <br />He noted the typical plans, approved by the Board for <br />reconstruction of the, roadway, call for loam and seed. <br />Under the circumstances, Mr. Rowley would not be able <br />to verify that said roadwork has been completed in <br />conformance 'With the plan. <br />Mr. Quinn pointed out there is no irrigation at the <br />location under discussion and that in the event of a major <br />or <br />storm, grass sod would not survive. <br />The Chairman asked about those trees that had been <br />marked to be taken down at the site Visit. <br />Mr. . Quinn responded that a number of said trees have <br />been removed. He assured her that they would all be <br />removed as agreed. <br />With regard to the construction entrance, the Town <br />P1annex asked if the Board requir.ed a plan for this <br />location. <br />
