The abutters have requested that the pavement on Simons Road be reduced from <br /> 20-f . to 1 -f . in an attempt to discourage cut through traffic c to which the Applicant is <br /> agreeable. <br /> Attorney McElhinney requested the Public Dearing be closed as soon as possible <br /> as he feels that everyone has had ample opportunity to voice their concerns. <br /> The Town Planner reported that three of the abutters have written with concerns <br /> that they have not had an opportunity to review the plans and in opposition to the <br /> development of condominiums. There has also been contact from an abutter who is <br /> currently in Florida and has not.seen plans or the opportunity to participate in the process. <br /> Attorney McElhirney clarified that everyone who resides on Willowbend Drive <br /> and Cranberry Ridge was notified of the meeting conducted on Monday evening, and that <br /> current.plans were provided. Four people responded'by attending..the meeting. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Doreen Culcasi, 21 Cranberry Ridge Road—Informed the Board that she was <br /> notified on Friday about the meeting held.on Monday, and that she did not have a lot o <br /> time to prepare. She stated her opposition to the development of condominiums-which <br /> she has stated in her letters. She has no objection however to the construction of houses. <br /> Mary Jane Marks, 47 Cranberry Ridge Road—Complimented Eileen Sterling <br /> from willowbend who has forwarded numerous a-mails regarding cancellation and <br /> continuations on behalf of the Applicant. She explained that she had not been present at <br /> Planning Board hearings due to confusion on her part regarding cancellations and <br /> continuations. She did not however receive an e-mail regarding the meeting held on <br /> Monday. <br /> Augie harks, 47 Cranberry Midge load—Stated that the letters in support-ofthe <br /> proposed project have been received from residents who will be unaffected by the <br /> development of the proposed condominium project. He suggested the Board review their <br /> addresses, noting they will not be impacted by the.development. when asked by the <br /> Board, he stated that he has no opposition to the cor'struetion of houses. <br /> Scott Kravis, 83 Sa psons Mill Road, at the corner of Simons load—Reiterated <br /> bi s�opposition to the development.of 48-condominiums as he feels the impact is too great <br /> on the abutters. He has no opposition to the construction of the houses that have been <br /> permitted at this location. He respectfully request d the Plarming Board to deny the <br /> permit for construction of condominiums. <br /> Terry McDonald, 11 Cranberry Midge Road— Stated she has submitted a letter in <br /> which she states, "We.don't want condos; we are fine with the houses". She noted this is <br /> Special Permit #26 questioning how many more changes Applicant will request. She <br /> stated that.she is a taxpayer, a year-round resident, and lures in a neighborhood <br /> 5 <br />
