The Town Planner agreed to provide copies of the Bike Path Plan within the <br /> Comprehensive Plan. He also suggested the Board consider use of the`'bypass road's <br /> which is a low impact roadway that could possibly be designed to accommodate <br /> bicyclists. <br /> The Chairman requested that Mr.'I licelli provide the Board with a list of <br /> proposed bike path connections to be used for negotiating purposes when working with <br /> local developers. <br /> Proposed Ilashpee Commons Development Agreement <br /> Information.Deeds and Process--Regional Policy Plan vision Map <br /> The Chairman reported on a meeting held earlier this date With the Cape Cod <br /> Commission and 1 iashpee Commons with regard to the Vision Map. Planning Board <br /> Member Dennis Bal arini was also in attendance. He informed the Board that there are <br /> concerns with property owners located in those areas zoned as Industrial and is now <br /> shown as Protective resource Area. There was discussion as to a possible overlay <br /> indicating the zoning under the new Vision Map; the zoning would not be changed from <br /> Industrial or Commercial, but that requirements of protection may be imposed. <br /> The Town Planner noted that within the Economic Development Center under-the <br /> I PP automatically eliminates any traffic mitigation for residential and office space on the <br /> second and third floor levels by the Cape Cod Commission requirements. <br /> The Chairman clarified that the Town is however able to require mitigation in this <br /> regard. It is his understanding.that the Town can refer,mitigation issues back to the Cape <br /> Cod Commission for their suggestions. <br /> (Discussion was recessed at this point so that the Vice Chairman could call the <br /> Public Hearing-to order.) <br /> The Chairman recused himself from this matter in order to avoid any possible <br /> conflict of interest. He appointed the Vice Chairman to preside over-this matter. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> ll ashpee Investors LLC-South Cape Village Shopping Center <br /> Approval of.Definitive subdivision Plan Modification for Redesign/Modification <br /> Commercial Street adjacent to Roche Bros. <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Vice Chairman called the Public Hearing <br /> to order. He then entertained a motion to further continue this matter. <br /> MOTION: Joseph Mullin made a Motion to continue the Public Hearing in this <br /> matter to April 1. 2009 at :00 p.m., as requested by the Applic nt;which Motion was <br /> duly seconded by,Tames Leonard and so voted unanimously. <br /> 5 <br />
