Mr. Roberts provided pictures indicating that one side of the walkways and
openings for garage doors have been nearly completed. A plant order has been placed
and upon arrival the one tree planting (located by the durnpster) will be completed.
The Town Planner asked about the 1 -shrub replacements needed at the south end
f the building. He suggested that Applicant provide the Board with some security
measures in this regard.
When the Chairman asked about the"rubble" retention materials, Mr. Roberts
indicated that due to some minor problems with the retention pit, those materials:are
available in order to correct any potential problems. In the event there are no 'urt.her
issues, the materials will be removed to another location.
The Town Planner then reviewed the series of Conditions as required by the
Special Pernift which are to be satisfactorily completed prior to issuance of the
occupancy permit
With reference to the gate requirements, Mr. Rowley inquired as to why they have
not yet been installed completed. Mr. Roberts stated there have been some issues
providing the gate at the main entrance because it is so large and needs to be able to
travel on-rollers. He suggested that perhaps the gate should be made smaller, with
adequate turn access,
The Town Planner determined that if Applicant is requesting a change to the Site
Plan the Board would have to decide whether or not a public hearing would be in order.
Mr. Rowley expressed concern asking whether or not the concrete blocks are
going to be secured in some fashion.
Mr. Roberts explained that the asphalt has been cut array, so that the block
actually sit lower, and dirt will be filled in around thorn so that they are locked in. He
also agreed to use process stone in order to further secure the blocks in place. He also
explained that the snow fencing will be reattached as the wort is completed on the blocks
and the driveway.
The Chairman asked that the area be cleaned up by moving the materials to the
.back corner of the building(out of sight for the other tenants); to which Mr. Roberts
agreed.
Making reference to the plan, the Town Player noted the sliding gate
requirement. He also reminded the Board that originally the gates were required for
security as the use for the building was a storage facility.
2
