The Chairman recognized Marty O'Malley, Chairman of <br /> the Board, Windchir a Point Condominium, who stated support <br /> for the original concept of Mashpee Commons mixed-use type <br /> approach. Every aspect was significant, attractive, and <br /> encouraging., not only representing the core of Mashpee but <br /> the future of Cape Cod to some degree. <br /> Mr. O' Malley spare in support of affordable hou-s ing. <br /> Mating reference to the. proposed parting area, Mr. <br /> O'Malley noted the thinly buffered area, as well as the <br /> massive impact to the Rotary. He noted the dominant use <br /> would be for Food retail, pointing out redundant food <br /> retail in the area. <br /> Mr. 'Mal le.y did speak in -support of mixed-use and the <br /> proposed hotel project . He suggested the Board review this <br /> project very carefully, paying special attention to the <br /> retail food establishments. He stated his preference for <br /> uses that will be more beneficial to the entire community. <br /> Mr. O'Malley wa-s also in agreement with joint meetings <br /> .so that issues -of concern could..be .better- -addressed-.- .He-- -emphasized the massive traffic impact this pxoposal would <br /> create . He expressed concern that the developer is <br /> beginning to stray from the original proposal, objecting to <br /> the. dominant use of a shopping center for food. <br /> In conclusion he made it clear that further study of <br /> this proposal is warranted and the he is more than willing <br /> to wort with the developer, as well as with the Planning <br /> Board. <br /> (This matter concluded at -:-20 p.m. ) <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Tindchir a Point, Inc. <br /> indahime Point Condominium <br /> Request est for Approval of Modification to Special Permit <br /> Storage/Garage <br /> The Chairman recognized Marty OF Malley, representing <br /> the Board of Trustees, Windchir a Point Condominiums . <br /> . <br /> References were made to a Plan of Land entitled, "Wi dchi e <br /> Point Condominium Site Plan, Revisions to- Phase 1A and 1B, <br /> datedJune 4,F 2003 .
