Project <br /> changes have not been communicated to the residents. <br /> The presidents find this to be disconcerting, as they <br /> would like to protect their investment . she raised <br /> conerns regarding those changes made to the original site <br /> plan approved .by the Town, as it had taken into <br /> consideration safety issues and long-term effects to the <br /> larger community. <br /> She made reference to the retaining gall; stating <br /> plans. -should. have. -been----approved --prior- -to- construction -ta <br /> .insure resident protection when they assume responsibility <br /> for the prcj.ect. <br /> She then cited section 9 .585 of the Zoning by-law, <br /> which requires Planning Board approval of the final site <br /> development plan. <br /> She did report on a recent successful and informative <br /> joint meeting between the- residents and developer. <br /> However, she did stress the need for Planning Board <br /> involvement/approval of the project a-s a whole . <br /> The residents have attended a Zoning Board of Appeals <br /> .Meeting requesting the developer be directed to appropriate <br /> Boards as they continue through the process. <br /> Lawrence Chubou, Southport resident - Agreed that <br /> final control of the project should lie with the Planning <br /> Board.
