• <br /> Section 17 .55 - Petition Article regarding sign <br /> regulations in Industrial and Commercial Zoning Districts. <br /> The chairman recognized Jeff Fields, lead petitioner. <br /> Mr. Fields explained there have been a number of ,meetings <br /> have been conducted with the Town Planner, Torn <br /> Administrator, Representative of the Board of Selectmen, <br /> DPW, Building Inspector, and the chamber of Commerce. An <br /> action plan has been devised that will satisfy the needs <br /> which occasioned the petition. <br /> Mr. Fields stated his intent to withdraw said Petition <br /> Article on Town Meeting floor. <br /> There being no further Board of Public comment, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion to close the Public Hearing- <br /> with reference to proposed Zoning Articles 16 and 20 . <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balarini made a Motion to close the <br /> Public Hearing ire the matter of proposed Zoning Articles 1 <br /> and 2 ;, which Motion was duly seconded by Don Myers and s <br /> voted unanimously. <br /> The- Chairman -then entert-a-ined- a- -mot,ion be--made with- - - <br /> reference to proposed Article 1 , Accessory Apartments.. <br /> MOTION: Doh Myers made a Motion to recommend approval <br /> of Article 1 , as amended; which Motion was duly seconded <br /> by Dennis Bal ari- i and- so noted unanimously. <br /> Noting in the Affirmative: Beverly Kane, Dennis <br /> Bal arini, Don Myers, and Steve Dolan. <br /> The Chairman then entertained a motion be. made with <br /> reference to proposed Article 20, sign regulations within <br /> Commercial and Industrial Zoning Districts . <br /> MOTION: Don Myers made a Motion to reconunend Article <br /> 20 be postponed indefinitely; which Motion was duly <br /> seconded by Dennis Balarini and so voted unanimously. <br /> Voting in the Affirmative: Beverly Vane, Dennis <br /> Balarinl, Don Myers, and Steve Dolan. <br /> Discussion Items <br /> Southport Modification Process <br />
