Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 26, 2004 <br /> Public Hearing— Sunday openings for Retail Package Stores: <br /> (continued) <br /> Being no further comment,the Selectmen motioned to close the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Dearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cah l ne, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the Sales of Alcohol <br /> (7) days per week, hours of operation on Sundays: 1 :00 p.m. to 1 :00 <br /> p.m., charging a permit fee of$100 for Sunday sales. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> Selectman 1,eveille absent. <br /> separate permit for Sunday sales must be granted by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. Each licensee is required to file an application for such permit. <br /> special meeting is scheduled on Friday, January 30, 2004 to review and <br /> approve applications for the Sunday liquor sales permit. <br /> Request of Law law s Motorcycle Club International—Fundraiser: <br /> Benjamin ferry, President of the Lave Dawgs Motorcycle Club <br /> International was present to request the Selectmen support a memorial ride <br /> and hike blessing in Mashpee on Saturday, May I, 2004. <br /> The club is scheduling the fund raiser in honor of William Paolini. The <br /> event will raise lands to create a scholarship in his name, as well as make <br /> donations to the Ma hpe I .A. . . program and other worthy charitable <br /> organizations. <br /> The ride will depart from the l a hpee High School at 12:00 p.m. to <br /> traverse 24.3miles of roads ending at Finally linos, Route 151 I ashpee. <br /> 1r. Perry outlined the details concerning the event. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the memorial <br /> motorcycle ride and blessing in honor of William Palini as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br />
