Mr. Fudala continued to-review the decision with the Board
and members reviewed the plan. Mr. Bornstein confirmed that striping had been completed and Mr.
Fudala recommended having the Building Commissioner forward a letter to the Board. Referencing
plastics on the 2dfloor, Mr. Rowley inquired about the sprinkler system and plastic.storage and Mr.
Fudala stated that a written procedure to be developed by Mr. Bornstein's team was needed to be in
place for the permit to be issued. Mr. Bornstein added that
items being stored were reviewed and recorded, Mr. Bornstein has followed the procedures outlined in
his original permit, which addressed hazardous materials. Mr. Fudal Uointed out that the procedures
were related to the sprinkler system and plastics being stored on the 2 floor. Mr. Bornstein stated that
he was seeking only a license to sell cars on the internet and expressed his frustration regarding the
drafting of procedures. Mr. Fudala stated that the language in the condition could be changed by
establishing a timetable for the condition to be met or eliminate the condition as it dealt with the
floor and-not car storage on the I'floor. Mr. Rowley inquired whether the I floor sprinkler system
had been resolved and Mr. Fudala confirmed that it was an open question with the State's Fire Marshal
but that Chief Rullo has said not to let that delay Mr. omstein's permit. Mr. Rowley then questioned
how to address the issue and Mr. Fudala stated that it would be dealt with through the Fire Department
and State Fire Marshall"s Office according to Chief I ullo. In order to not delay the permit any further,
condition#6 was edited to-remove "before this Modification Decision will become effective, and shall
otherwise satisfy both the Fire Chief and Mass. Department of Fire Services that:the sprinkler r rst m
installed on the first and second floors of the building meets all applicable codes and safety
requirements."
MOTION: Mr. Bat arini made a motion to close the public bearing for Stu Bornstein, Mr.
Cummings seconded the motion.
