Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> September 17, 2008 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called to order in Conference <br /> Room#I, Mashpee Town lull, 16 Great Deck Road Novi, Mashpee, Massachusetts at <br /> :00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. The Chairman, Beverly Dane, presided. <br /> Planning Board Members present: Dennis Balzarini, Vice-Chairman; Beverly <br /> Kan , Chairman; Joseph Mullin;Thomas O'Hara; and Mary wa rgan, Associate <br /> Member, <br /> Absent: James Leonard <br /> Also present: F. Thomas Fudala, Town Planner. :lo p.m.); and Thomas Mayo, <br /> GIS Coordinator. <br /> Cape Cod Commission Staff: Ryan hristenberry; Phil Dascombe. <br /> quorum being present the Chairman called the Meeting to order and addressed <br /> the-first order ofbusiness. <br /> Discussion <br /> Douglas Storrs-Mashpee Commons LLC and Cape Cod Commission Staff <br /> Proposed Mashpee Commons Development Agreement—Energy Sustainability <br /> The Chairman recogniz d Ryan Christenberry, Cape Cod Commission Staff, who <br /> stated that-the urrent RPP deals with air duality standards. The proposed RPP makes an <br /> attempt to address energy issues more responsibly such as on-site renewable <br /> requirements, and energy certification requirements. These changes are currently before <br /> the Planning Committee and Assembly and have net yet been adopted. <br /> Phil Dascombe commented that the Mashpee Commons-Development Master <br /> Flan is-being reviewed under the current Regional Policy Plan as the original IRI for the <br /> entire area went through Cape Cod Con=*ssion review under these standards. Mr. Storrs <br /> has offered to Subject himself and the Mashpee Commons project to updated Regional <br /> Policy Plans as they are adopted. <br /> The Chairman made reference to the Town of Mashpee Comprehensive Plan, <br /> approved in 1998, and which has never been updated, noting the-section devoted to <br /> Energy, and distributed copies to everyone for their review. <br /> The Chairman further stated that at the time the Town had suggested <br /> recommended pollies, one of which would require development and redevelopment be <br /> I <br />
