' 4
l
Wayne made a motion to release the covenant on all the roadways
in the Ashument Shores/Briarwood subdivision. Tony seconded the-
motion. All Board members were in favor 4-0.
DISCUSSION
Applicant: Willowbend Development Corp.
Location: Quinnaquisset Ave. and Willowbend (Simons) Road
Request: Discussion of reconstruction of Willowbend Road in
clubhouse/entrance area.
Special p permit modification
voted on May 6 subject to approval of plans by Board
Engineer and Town Planner. Decision was filed with
x
Town Clerk on May 11. However, no road plan and
project changes (including drainage) have been
approved under the Subdivison Control Law.
Tony Ferragamo and Wayne Garrett stepped down and left the room.
Spyro Mitrokostas sat on this matter. i
Norman Grossman was present representing the applicant.
Charlie Rowley was not yet present.
Pat explained that he and Charlie met on site approximately 2 }
-weeks ago. He believes Charlie was satisfied with the breakdown
of costs from Lawrence Lynch.
Norman stated that the agenda reads that the costs for Willowbend
Road do not appear to be covered. He explained that there was
no reason to cover it because there is less work to do now ;;
because they reduced the area (to 20 ft. ) so logically it is
included in the total therefor there was no reason to change the rfti;
estimate.
Pat stated that when he met with Charlie they discussed this and
agreed that a narrower road would require less money.
Norman explained that they will set up a passbook for 150% of the
total cost of work (L. Lynch estimate is $92, 500) . He will need r'
something in writing from the Board confirming the amount.
Norman explained that by narrowing the road they moved the catch
basin. When the work is done the as built' s will be submitted.
His assumption was when all the work is done. Does the Board
want it on a piece by piece basis?
Pat explained that under the subdivision regulation they need
Charlie Rowley' s inspection during the process . He wants to be
part of the process and inspect it all through the process.
Norman asked what the Board is looking for now?
How would they like him to present the modifications - what
format, what kind of plan?
y
3
