• Zoning Board of Appeals
Minutes
September 28, 2006
Correspondence: (continued)
In response to the questions regarding the bikeway/walkway along the
remainder of Jobs Fishing Road, Mr. Storrs agreed to research this matter
and remit to the ZBA at their next meeting, a simple commitment if
deemed necessary to ensure that Jobs Fishing Road would be built in
conformance to Town standards to include a dedicated 14' bikeway/
walkway in the final layout. During the project interim, Mr. Storrs
indicated that he would construct a 10' wide temporary bikeway/walkway
along Jobs Fishing Road.
Discussion followed regarding Jobs Fishing Road as it relates to the green
space designed on the proposed plan. It was noted that Jobs Fishing Road
as shown on the plan is within the current layout of the existing road. It
was agreed Jobs Fishing Road would maintain a continuous layout width
of 60' for future use. Jobs -Whitings Trust would assume management of
the green unless the homeowners association was to take upon
maintenance responsibilities.
• Memorandum — 9/27/06:
Members of the ZBA reviewed the memorandum of 9/27/06 prepared by
Mr. Storrs on behalf Jobs -Whitings Trust.
As noted, the Cape Cod Commission process is moving forward. It is
hopeful the Development of Regional Impact review (DRI) would be
complete by the end of October.
An updated set of Street Types (Thoroughfare Plans) reflective of the
various types of streets within the plan was presented to the ZBA. It was
noted this was also updated to ensure the construction of a 14' wide
sidewalk on one side of Jobs Fishing Road to accommodate a combined
pedestrian walkway/bike path.
Additional documents were provided relative to the draft Architectural
Guidelines and draft Neighborhood Architectural Code. The
Neighborhood Architectural Code is proposed to govern the design of all
buildings in the project area. It will be used by Jobs -Whitings -Trust for all
buildings to be designed and/or constructed by the Trust. The Design
Review process outlines the process required of any proposed building
• that is designed and/or constructed by an entity other than Jobs -Whitings
Trust.
