This requests is conducive to the businesses already in that area and the <br /> Board feels this requests is appropriate. Zella Elizenberry moves to grant the special <br /> permit.. Robert Nelson seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. <br /> ALISON SCHUHMACHER AND RICHARD L'ARBE: Request a Variance under <br /> Section 174-31 of the zoning by laws to vary the sideyard setback requirements in order <br /> to build an addition on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 9 Terry Avenue (Map <br /> 71 Parcel 10) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: James Regan, Marshall Brem and Robert Nelson. <br /> Mr. Richard L'Arbe represents himself at this hearing. They are seeking a variance on <br /> the sideyard setback requirement in order to build an addition. The Board reviews the <br /> plans with applicant and find there to be several variances necessary to comply with the <br /> current zoning in the R-5 district and feel they should clean up the matter now. All <br /> requests seem to be reasonable and Marshall Brem moves to grant the following: <br /> ✓ A 7.5 foot variance on the northerly side <br /> ✓ A 7.7 foot variance on the southerly side <br /> ✓ A 75 foot frontage variance <br /> ✓ A 72,755 square foot lot size variance. <br /> Robert Nelsons seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. <br /> D.J. DONAHUE CORPORATION: Request a Special Permit from Sections 174-51 <br /> and 174-54 of the Zoning By Laws in order to erect a sign larger than 20 square feet but <br /> no more than 40 square feet on property located in a C-2 zoning district at 428 Nathan <br /> Ellis Highway (Map 72 Parcel 86) Mashpee; MA. <br /> Sitting: James Regan, Robert Nelson and Zella Elizenberry <br /> Gary Tavares, owner of Francesco Tavares Landscaping is leasing the property belonging <br /> to Daniel Donahue and is before the board to requests a Special Permit to erect a sign <br /> they would like to install that will be 40 square feet in size. The Design Review <br /> committee recommended some changes and the applicant is amenable to it. Mr. Russ <br /> Wheeler would like the old signage to be removed and Mr. Brem mentions that he would <br /> not like to see the height of the railroad ties or stones for walls be anymore than 3 tiers <br /> high. Mr. Tavares agrees and says he follows the OSHA requirements anyway. Robert <br /> Nelson moves to grant a special permit. Zella Elizenberry seconds the motion. All agree <br /> So moved. <br /> KEVIN AND MICHELLE WHITE: Request a Variance from Section 174-31 of the <br /> Zoning By Laws in order to build a 10' x 14' breezeway and 10' x 4' entryway and a 16' . <br /> x 24' garage with a 11' x 5' btunp out on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 51 <br /> Tracy Lane (Map 99 Parcel 26) Mashpee, MA. <br /> • <br />
