Falmouth, MA, <br /> dated June 15, 2004, revised August 12, 2004 and revised August 30, 2004 as prepared <br /> for Brian Kanter. <br /> Paul Deptula, SavaTree: Requests a Special Permit from Sections 174-25 G (6) and G <br /> (9) of the Zoning By-laws to add the use of a tree care service business on property <br /> located in an I-1 zoning district at 90-100 Echo Road (Map 19 Parcel 6-000) Mashpee, <br /> MA. Owner of Record: CCM Realty Trust <br /> Paul Deptula from SavaTree represents himself at this hearing. He is seeking a special <br /> use permit to allow the use of his tree care service business on Echo Road. It would <br /> entail tree care functions, storage, and office space. This will be a service business with 5 <br /> vehicles stored. The number of employees will range from a peak of 9 to wintertime of <br /> perhaps 5 or so. He explains to the Board that his company is currently in Comit and he <br /> would like to move it to Mashpee. The Board reviews the use law and feels this is an <br /> appropriate request. The Board of Health has the following requests for his business <br /> venture: <br /> ✓ A change of occupancy must have Board of Health approval <br /> ✓ Hazardous materials shall be limited to 200 pounds of dry weight and 220 gallons <br /> of liquid storage <br /> ✓ Storage of hazardous waste or materials outside is prohibited <br /> ✓ Floor drains are prohibited <br /> ✓ Painting and or use of solvents/lacquers shall be limited to a paint booth with <br /> vented discharge and/or in accordance with the Mass. Air Quality Regulations <br /> ✓ Stormwater generated from impervious surfaces shall be collected and treated <br /> ✓ Proposed sanding operations shall be performed with dustless sanders <br /> ✓ Proposed maintenance of vehicles and/or water vessels shall be performed in an <br /> indoor or semi-enclosed area on maintenance pads <br /> ✓ Maintenance contracts shall be submitted to the Board of Health prior to a <br /> certificate of occupancy <br /> ✓ Proposed pressure washing shall be treated as industrial wastewater. <br /> Robert Nelson moves to grant the Special Permit request.. Zella Elizenberry seconds the <br /> motion. All agree. So moved. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: <br /> ✓ Accept minutes from September 22,2004 <br />
