The Building Inspector, Russ wheeler was immediate) <br /> called to the site and he concurred that a nein foundation would be necessary and <br /> substantial structural W'ork would be needed. A decision would need to be made as to <br /> whether or not the entire structure should be torn down. Since they were in the <br /> conservation jurisdiction—Mr. Sher-man was called. He said they needed to file a notice <br /> of determination. new Title V septic system was applied for and given with no <br /> problems. They applied for a demolition permit. while the excavator was tearing down <br /> part the structure, it was determined that none of it was salvageable. Mr. wheeler was <br /> called again for a building permit and was denied because they needed a special permit <br /> for the demolition of the entire house. They stopped the project until this matter could be <br /> taken en care of: The building permit has been issued contingent on the special permit being <br /> issued. Case and point—they plan to build within the foot print and actually smaller, <br /> about 62 square feet smaller. Mr. Felson tabes some measurements on the plan.
