Mashpee Zoning Minutes—April 26, 2000 2 <br /> Board of Appeals + + <br /> Superior Court. The Department of Environmental Protection denied the Gorstein's <br /> appeal. Mr. and-Mrs. Gorstein have now requested an Adjudicatory Proceeding with the <br /> Department of Environmental Protection. Because of these appeals, Mr. and Mrs. " . <br /> Frederick R. Glass have been unable to obtain a building permit. ° <br /> At the Public Hearings on April 26, 2000, Mr. Regan moved to grant a six-monthh <br /> extension,of the above-referenced Petition. Mr. Guerrera seconded. All agreed. "ik <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> Peter P. & Susan Govoni—Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a pier, ramp and float on John's Pond on <br /> property located in an R-5 zoning district at 113 James Circle (Map 64 Block 60) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> .•r r� <br /> The Board received a request to continue the Petition. Mr. Regan moved to continue the <br /> hearing until June 14, 2000. Mr. Guerrera seconded. All agreed. <br /> _N�uPW <br /> Linda M. & James Tedesco—Request a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to vary the side and rear setback requirements to allow for <br /> installation of a shed on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 25 Greenwood <br /> Road (Map 117 Block 380) Mashpee, MA. p <br /> Sitting: Mr. Regan stepped down and left the room. Robert G. Nelson, Richard T. <br /> Guerrera and Frederick R. Borgeson. " <br /> Mr. Tedesco represented the application and stated that the proposed shed would house a ►.��n <br /> lawn mower that is currently in the basement of his home. The 8 x 8-foot proposed <br /> structure would be portable and would be supported on cement blocks. <br /> °i When Mr. Nelson asked the reason for the location of the shed as shown on the plan, Mr. <br /> Tedesco realized that the handwritten sketch of the shed on the certified plan was . <br /> incorrect. Mr. Tedesco made the necessary changes to reflgct the proper location of the 'N/ " <br /> shed on the lot. Mr. Hauck confirmed that the lot abuts two streets and that the correction <br /> that Mr. Tedesco made on the plan at the meeting is acceptable documentation. <br /> 1 <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr. Borgeson moved to grant a Variance of 11 feet from the sideline setback <br /> requirements and a Variance of 12 feet from the rear setback requirements, subject to <br /> criteria 1, 2, 3, 4 and findings 1.
