Mashpee Zoning Minutes — March 14, 2001 <br />Board of Appeals <br />• A representative of the Stable Trust, an abutter, attended the meeting and reviewed the <br />plans. <br />Mr. Borgeson moved to Deny Without Prejudice the request for a Variance. Mr. <br />Guerreca seconded. All agreed. <br />Christopher A. Newman — Requests a Variance from Section 163-4.A. of the Zoning <br />By-laws for permission to park and use a trailer for temporary occupancy incidental to <br />the construction of a single-family home on property located in an R-5 zoning district <br />at 126 South Sandwich Road (Map 21 Block 81) Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: Edward M. Govoni, Zella E. Elizenberry and Marshall A. Brem. <br />Mr. Newman represented his Petition and stated that construction is almost complete. He <br />indicated that high rental rates forced him to move into the trailer until completion of his <br />new home. <br />Mr. Wheeler confirmed that use of a trailer for occupancy is an allowed use during <br />construction of a home on a property. <br />No comments were received from abutters. <br />• Ms. Elizenberry moved to grant the Variance to allow for use of the trailer for temporary <br />occupancy until May 15, 2001. Mr. Brem seconded. All agreed. <br />Ralph A. Cistoldi — Requests a Special Permit under Section 174.25.I.9 of the Zoning <br />By-laws for permission to construct a Section l0A float, ramp and walkway on Jehu <br />Pond on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 89 Tide Run (Map 120 Block 188) <br />Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: Edward M. Govoni, Zella E. Elizenberry and Richard T. Guerrera. <br />Mr. Michael Grotzke of the Phoenix Group represented the Petition and stated that the <br />proposal is a Harbormaster -approved Section l0A Float that will be removed seasonally. <br />The walkway does not exceed the 70 -foot length limit from the edge of wetlands. The <br />Conservation Commission has approved the proposal. <br />No comments were received from abutters. <br />Mr. Guerrera moved to grant the Special Permit subject to findings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Ms. <br />Elizenberry seconded. All agreed. <br />Chapman. Cole & Gleason Funeral Homes — Request a Special Permit under Sections <br />174-25.E.6., 174-39, 174-51.B. and 174-82.A.4. of the Zoning By-laws for permission <br />• to construct the following: a mortuary, undertaking or funeral establishment, signage <br />exceeding 20 square feet and parking spaces exceeding the minimum required within the <br />2 <br />
