Mr. Nelson informed him <br /> that the Conservation Commission did indicate a 'approval of the project. <br /> Mr. Sterling also objected to the statement made by Mr. Hayes that the Building <br /> Commissioner approved the project. He said that du <br /> ring uring the original construction of - , <br /> the subject home, the DEP required lattice work on '• the piles to provide support during <br /> a wave surge in a storm, Mr. Sterling stated that at the last Co <br /> nservatlon Commssion <br /> meeting there was a discussion of installer plywood ' <br /> . g p yw with break-away panels instead of <br /> the lattice work. He expressed concern with break-away panels being airborne during <br /> hurricane-force wind or storm surge. Mr. Sterling g said that he has a problem with the .- <br /> Building Commissioner approving the break !panels against the DEP requirements J. <br /> of 1984 and with no regard to the safe of the <br /> safety neighbors. <br /> Mr. Hayes said that the BuildingCo <br /> Commissioner did not approve an <br /> Build' pp anything. He questioned if the Board and of Health has approved that <br /> proposal. Mr. Sterling said that the Board should not consider approving the proposal <br /> without that issue being resolved. <br /> Mr. Nelson informed Mr. Sterlingthat the <br /> e Zoning Board of Appeals has no jurisdiction F <br /> over any construction inside a dwelling and has no legal right to act on such is <br /> sues. <br /> Mr. requested <br /> .Nelson Mr. Ta for to reply •y to the break-away panels. She said that the break-away panels would constitute a hazard. Ms. Sterling <br /> said that her father's shower that was attached to the house for 40 years flew off down the <br /> street during Hurricane Bob.
