"MIN" Town ofMashpee <br /> i.! x <br /> 16 Great JVeck P(oad Arth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Half Tide Marina Inc. - SP-96-50 57 Industrial Drive <br /> Map 88, Block 24 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 28, 1996 by Half Tide Marina Inc.of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.G.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> open lot storage of boats in an I-1 zoning district on property located at 57 Industrial <br /> Drive (Map 88, Block 24)Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Richard P. and Mary A. <br /> Crowley). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 5, 1996 and July 12, 1996, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on July 24, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and Section 174- <br /> 25.G.9 of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Robert A. Romero, Jr. represented the applicant and informed the Board <br /> that 39,800 square feet of the subject lot will be fenced and used for outside boat storage. <br /> The application was reviewed by the Director of Public Works, Fire Chief, Town Planner <br /> and the Operations Manager of the Mashpee Water District and the applicant has included <br /> all recommendations from them in his proposal. Comments were received from one <br /> abutter in opposition. <br />
