Seconded by Mr. Klein. All in favor. <br /> 3. Recruitment for New Member <br /> We are looking to recruit members because of Sue Wilson's resignation. <br /> Ms. Hicks asked about the criteria. <br /> Ms. Stevenson stated it's a willingness to work on a Committee and a recommendation is <br /> then made to the Select Board after the interview. <br /> 4. Afghan Refugee Program <br /> Discussed later with Guest Speaker, Brad Sweet. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Community Report for Town — February 1st <br /> Ms. Stevenson is currently working on this and is hoping Mr. Kupferman can help with <br /> edits. She will also reach out to Kim Landry for assistance. <br /> 2. Planning 2022 <br /> She was informed the MIDC budget is included in the Human Services Budget. She was <br /> unaware budgets for the following year had to be submitted, as nobody informed her she <br /> had to submit this proposal. When she discovered this she called the office and found out <br /> she has to spend this money before July. It will be used for Race Amity. She then inquired <br /> if she could raise the amount but the budgets were already submitted. That is what Ms. <br /> Wilson was referring to. <br /> Ms. Wilson commented the budget was left at $500.00 for FY2023. <br /> 3. Diversity Project Library Program — May 22, 2022 <br /> 4. Race Amity Day— Mid June <br /> The planning for this year's Race Amity Day will be starting early. The Mass Cultural <br /> Committee grant proposal runs through March 1, 2022. She will write the grant, and it will <br /> allow more freedom with the program. There is $500.00 this year to spend. If the grant is <br /> approved the money in the budget will support the school project. There were a number of <br /> 5 <br />
