Friel, M. Makunas, J. Regan <br />Wayne Tavares explained that Conservation approved the plans <br />and that dock has existed since 1977. Mr. Makunas moved to <br />grant the Special Permit. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. <br />John E. & Elva D. Ryan - Request a Special Permit under <br />Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for the licensing of <br />an existing dock in an R-3 zoning district on property located <br />at 126 Captain's Row (Map 96, Block 20) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, J. Regan <br />Wayne Tavares represented the applicant and explained that the <br />plan had been revised by Conservation which had requested an <br />elevation of 18 inches. He presented revised plans. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Regan <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Richard W. & Mabel L. Mell - Request a Special Permit under <br />Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to <br />construct a garage in an R-3 zoning district on property <br />located at 90 Bluss Avenue (Map 118, Block 55) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, J. Regan <br />Mr. Mell explained that he wished to build a two -car garage <br />and the only possible location was 1' from the lot line. Mr. <br />Makunas questioned how the structure could be built without <br />trespassing. Mr. Hauck said he was denying any permits which <br />might be detrimental to the neighborhood and that this <br />application is for an increase from 20% to 26% in lot <br />coverage. Mr. Mell explained that he had a wooden retaining <br />wall on the side lot line and the contractor had said garage <br />could be constructed. Mr. Friel explained that property was <br />in the Flood Plain and that Conservation would require certain <br />construction requirements. <br />
