Meeting Minutes
Plan Review Committee
Tuesday, May 17.2022
KHmshpee Town Hall Wa4uoltMeeting Room
Mr. gjqMhqKqOgLofl,
He reviewed the Title 5 plan and the plan for the drainage retention area. Board of Health requires a
sub-surface component forNha retention basin so there is no standing water, or at least prolonged
standing wabar. The septic system is underneath pavement and requires a Tide 5Vurianne. He wanted
to know if the design quote included office and showroom space for commercial or retail.
Mr. Junqueina said at this time they are only applying for warehouse apace to review the budget. A
separate proposal will be filed for another time. For now, it is strictly a warehouse.
Mr. Harrington said that sizing the septic system would aUmw59g gallons a day before600 gallons
would require denite system. Currently it looks like there is only 340'360 gallons o day. There would
be more flexibility to design fully out to the 509 as far as the uses into the building. He always
recommends the denite because you are not restricted on the property. This will require a filing with the
Board mf Health Board for septic approval.
Mr.Evan Lehrerjown Planner
He spoke to Joao and mentioned that the location of the parking at the facility requires a discussion with
the ZBA and at their discretion will determine the parking along the side and front. The applicant should
be prepared bo make that case.
Mr.Jack Phelan,Fire Chief
He asked if there will be painting in the future, the building will require fire protection fora spray booth
and an a|onn system. A sprinkler system is not required but keep in mind a dust collection system for
the furniture making.
Joao said that he will schedule m meeting with the Fire Department.
Mr. Dave Morris.Buildina Commissioner
He asked Joao what iothe standard fire mepenmUone between the baye. Joao said it is one hour. Dave
said that they may need to be upgraded to two hours especially where there is no sprinkler system.
Mr.Drew McManus,Copjqp%fiq
No comments.
He said that Glen answered the questions regarding the infiltration system and retention basin. If the
rear is to be paved, it may require the drainage calculations to be revised or expand the trench.
2
