The exhibit will be on display at the Mashpee Public Library <br /> through August, then it will move to the high school. Each year she plans to add more and <br /> more. There is history of this event dating back years ago with the creation of the Hall of Flags. <br /> She is amazed at how this project evolved into what it is today. It will be a nice exhibit for <br /> tourists to enjoy as well. <br /> Ms. Stevenson expressed her need for assistance in preparation of the big night. She <br /> approached different restaurants around town that have ethnic food asking if they would be <br /> willing to donate or contribute a small tray for sampling. She visited Asia, Estia, Bleu, and <br /> Bangkok Cuisine. <br /> Mr. Fand will talk to a Brazilian restaurant he likes. <br /> Ms. Stevenson is looking for three dozen samplings. She would like someone to pick up the <br /> food orders by 6:00p.m. Some of the featured families will prepare their own dishes for <br /> sampling as well. She will get in touch with the owner of the flower shop for some floral <br /> arrangements. <br /> Mr. Klein volunteered to pick up the food. <br /> Chair Stevenson would also like a handful of people to stay after the event to help clean. She <br /> is very much looking forward to this event and thinks it will be beautiful and really impressive. <br /> They did a presentation to the School Board. <br /> 2. Race Amity Day: June 12, 2022 at 12:00p.m. —4:00p.m. <br /> Mr. Kupferman is moving full speed ahead. Everyone is participating, and it has been going <br /> great. He noted Ms. Kent's assistance has been dynamite, he gave kudos to her. She is <br /> sending out a PSA through Mashpee TV and there will be a promotional blurb that was edited <br /> with pictures from last year. Flyers and posters were designed and are being distributed in <br /> Mashpee Commons and local areas. There are a dozen speakers lined up, they were worried <br /> about entertainment but they have 15 possibilities, with 5 already confirmed. He is looking for <br /> anyone who knows a local artist or musician who may be willing to perform. He is still waiting <br /> to hear back from The Singing Sailors. <br /> Ms. Hicks is going to try and contact Tedi Marsh. <br /> 3 <br />
