Proposed demolition and reconstruction of NOI <br /> <br />single-family home and septic system upgrade. <br /> <br />Janet Bernardo from Horsley Witten Group presented plans. Chuck Horne, homeowner, <br /> <br />was present. <br /> <br /> <br />Agent said we need to work on figuring out proper mitigation. Janet Bernardo said she has <br /> <br />done a few calculations based off what Conservation said. Agent suggested to have the <br /> <br />applicant work with Conservation or ask for a continuance. <br /> <br />Assistant Agent read comments from Board of Health. <br /> <br /> <br />Agent asked if the homeowner had a conversation with the Board of Health. <br /> <br />Janet Bernardo said it has recently been inspected, they plan on contacting the Board of <br /> <br />Health. <br /> <br />Agent asked if the driveway can be pervious. <br /> <br /> <br />Janet Bernardo said that’s one of the reasons for the drywell, the homeowner prefers <br /> <br />asphalt. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith motioned to close and issue with the conditions to work with <br /> <br /> <br />Conservation for mitigation and final approval from Board of Health. <br /> <br />Mr. Dalton seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Vote: 5-0-0 <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. Zollo; yes <br /> <br />Mr. Weeden; yes <br /> <br />Mr. Dalton; yes <br /> <br />Mr. Colombo; yes <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Smith; yes <br /> <br />In favor, 5; Opposed, 0; Abstentions, 0 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />John & Ann Marie Beasley, 26 Little Neck Lane. Proposed construction of seawall, <br />6:21 NOI <br />associated grading, and restoration plantings. <br />Raul Lizardi from Cape & Islands Engineering, Inc. presented plans. <br />Agent asked if both properties have retaining walls. <br />Raul Lizardi said the last house itself is the retaining wall. <br />Agent said it’s a tricky spot and the situation needs to be addressed. Soft solutions are not <br />feasible here, but a number of soft we permitted in the past were not installed properly or <br />maintained. Soft should rebuild the bank with plantings, not just soil. Reg 16 requires the <br />applicant provide that no other method is feasible. Structural integrity is being <br /> <br />
