6:15 Joseph J. &Kathleen C. Ciullo, 65 Redwood Circle. Proposed construction of three NOI <br /> additions to existing dwelling and permitting of existing elevated walkway. Representative: <br /> Wet Tech Land Design, Inc.Wayne Tavares from Wettech presented the project details. <br /> Mr.Tavares described an existing stairway leading to the pond that is unpermitted and has <br /> a landing that must be removed as it exceedsthe allowable 4 ft width requirement for <br /> pathways through naturally vegetated buffer strips. Mr.Tavares said that the front addition <br /> is being eliminated from the proposal and asked that mitigation be reduced accordingly. <br /> The Agent stated that a large mature tree is being removed for construction access,thus <br /> the mitigation should remain the same as those trees must be mitigated for.Agent <br /> reviewed the photos of the site and recommended a close and issue with condition of <br /> mitigation monitoring and maintenance. Mr.Colombo asked about the platform on the <br /> existing stairs and how it would be removed. Mr.Tavares clarified. Mrs Zollo asked about <br /> trees proposed for removal due to risk concerns. Agent clarified. Discussion amongst <br /> commissioners on conditions of approval. No public comment. Mr.Smith motioned for <br /> close and issue with conditions of issuance of DEP number, arborist assessment of risk <br /> tree, removal of platform on existing stairway, building inspector assessment of stairway, <br /> two year mitigation monitoring/maintenance contract and Board of Health sign off. Mr. <br /> Dalton seconded. Mr. Colombo asked about DEP# issuance and the need for a <br /> continuance. Mr. Smith made a revised motion for a continuance to July 14th for <br /> receipt of a DEP#at 6:18 p.m. Mr. Dalton seconded the motion. <br /> Vote: 6-0-0 <br /> Mr.Weeden: Yes <br /> Mr.Colombo: Yes <br /> Mrs. Zollo: Yes <br /> Mr.Cook: Yes <br /> Mr. Dalton: Yes <br /> Mr.Smith: Yes <br /> In favor:6;Against: 0; Abstentions: 0 <br /> **Commissioner Zollo left the meeting due to previous obligations" <br /> 6:18 Avi Spivack, 120 Ventures, LLC, 120 Fells Pond Road. Proposed dock and elevated NOI <br /> walkway over existing walkway and mitigation plantings. Representative: Wet Tech Land <br /> Design, Inc. Wayne Tavares(Wettech Design) presented the project and described the <br /> proposal for a dock on Fells Pond and raised access stairway to the dock.Agent described <br /> the site and conditions. No shellfish or Harbor master comments...Fells Pond is private. <br /> Agent inquired about tree along shoreline and if would be removed or not. Mr.Tavares <br /> said it would be removed. No DEP#. Mr.Cook asked about the number of diamond piers <br /> and felt that it could be reduced. Additional conversation ensued regarding access steps. <br /> Abutter called in for public comment and had concerns about the length of proposed dock <br /> and that its out of character with existing docks.
