HEARINGS: <br /> 6:00 Juan Marichal, Trustee, 100 Great Neck Rd North: Proposed septic system upgrades. NOI <br /> Representative: BSC Group <br /> Paul Mancuso from BSC Group provided the details of the proposed septic system <br /> upgrades for a property that has multiple residential units (mixed of cottages and <br /> condo/apartment units).Resource areas include Rivenfront (Mashpee River), buffer zone to <br /> inland bank and Bordering Vegetated Wetlands. Mr. Mancuso described the upgraded <br /> systems as I/A-Innovative Alternative, which provides for increased nitrogen <br /> removal/treatment. Chairman Colombo had some additional questions on the type of <br /> system proposed and existing septic infrastructure. Commissioner Cook questioned <br /> setback to wetland/bank across the road. Commissioner Clapprood asked how many <br /> cottage units are on the property. Agent asked for clarification on area of plan that is <br /> cross-hatched..what is happening in this area. Consultant provided clarifications. Agent <br /> recommended a condition that any areas disturbed by grading/alteration be mitigated. <br /> Board of Health approved plans. <br /> Mr. Cook motioned to Close & Issue. <br /> Mr. Weeden seconded the motion. <br /> Vote: 4-0-0 <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Cook: yes <br /> Mr. Weeden: yes <br /> Mrs Clapprood: yes <br /> Mr. Colombo: yes <br /> In favor, 4; Opposed, 0; Abstentions, 0 <br /> 6:03 Town of Mashpee, 491 Great Oak Rd: Proposed Improvement Dredging of portions of NOI <br /> Great River and Little River. Representative: BSC Group (continued from 6-23-22 no DEP <br /> number assigned). Mr. Costa <br /> described the project, which includes a new I/A septic system, relocation of two existing <br /> sheds and mitigation from a previously approved project that was not completed. Board of <br /> Health approved the plan. Steve Cook questioned the grading on the roadside of the <br /> property and if any landscaping/mitigation is going in this area.
