Mr. Towle made a motion to limit the amount of time for Public Comment be limited to 5 minutes. <br /> Mr. Lyons seconded the motion. <br /> Motion was passed by unanimous consent. <br /> 2. Policy Formulation to Replace Standard Operating Procedure#2. <br /> Mr. Jack explained the SOP #2 relating to low pressure grinder pumps. SOP #2 as it is on the Committee's <br /> website authorized the acquisition of a grinder pump to be provided by the Town any time the design called <br /> for a specific application thereof. <br /> From an SOP vs. Policy perspective the Policy is more specific and more definitive as to when it is going to be <br /> applicable to when a specific location will be required to have that pump system. The Town, upon the Town's <br /> decision, will provide the pump component system free of charge. <br /> Meredith Harris made a motion to replace SOP#2 with Sewer Commission Policy#2 and incorporate it into <br /> the Rules & Regulations with edits recommended by Mr. Lyons. <br /> Catherine Castaneda seconded the motion. <br /> Motion was passed by unanimous consent. <br /> 3. Sea Oaks Betterment Hearing Update. <br /> Mr. Jack said that the betterment hearing for Sea Oaks February 16, 2023 at 6:30pm in the Waquoit Meeting <br /> Room at Town Hall. All of the documents are ready to go out to the residents. <br /> 4. Construction and Cost Update with Interim Town Engineer, Ray Jack. <br /> Mr. Jack made a presentation on the current progress of the project. <br /> There was concern expressed regarding the location of the signage and Mr. Jack will look into having the sign <br /> relocated. <br /> Mr. Jack stated that the current percentage of value of the project was at 2.9% at the end of December. <br /> $840,000 has been expended on the project thus far. <br /> He said that the estimated startup for Phase 1 is October 2, 2024. <br /> Co-Chair Harris inquired as to whether there have been any supply chain issues and Mr. Jack said there <br /> haven't been any thus far but that some of the materials for the plant are being ordered now because lead <br /> times are extraordinarily long. <br /> Correspondence: <br /> None at this time. <br /> 2 <br />
