MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> APRIL 26,2023 <br /> The project was presented to the Design Review and Plan Review Committees, and is also being <br /> reviewed by Mr. Ed Pesce, Pesce Engineering for a peer review. The Design Review Committee <br /> recommended that shutters be installed on the windows; the color scheme is slate gray for the <br /> building and the trim will be crimson red. <br /> Attorney Kirrane is also requesting relief for parking which is up to the Board's discretion to allow <br /> parking in the front given the odd shape of the lot, and to allow fire truck apparatus access. There <br /> will be plenty of landscape screening as requested by both Committees. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer read comments dated April 24, 2023 submitted by Associate, Tyler Gaudreau, <br /> with the Design Review Committee into the record. <br /> • Seed mixes for infiltration and rain garden area,type (no lawn mixes). <br /> • Evergreen tree recommendation—green giant arborvitae, shrub-inkberry). <br /> • Possible screening from abutting properties where applicable. <br /> Mr. Dibb said that arborvitaes will be installed along the parking lot line. There are three pine <br /> trees,three arborvitaes, and deciduous shrubs on the corner. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer read the Design Review and Plan Review recommendations dated April 21, 2023 <br /> as listed below: <br /> Desi�n Review Recommendations: <br /> -A Landscape plan for ZBA <br /> -Three (3) evergreen trees,three (3) deciduous plants located at the parking spaces 20 ft. on <br /> center. <br /> -One (1) ornamental plant situated near the entrance. <br /> -Shutters on the four(4) bay building. <br /> -Earth tone colors for the building. <br /> Plan Review Recommendations: <br /> -The size of the building on the plan depicts 7,500 sq. ft. but it is actually 7,475 sq. ft. (Plan <br /> needs to be revised). <br /> -Parking is preferred on the rear and side. (Requesting a waiver for the front) <br /> -Additional trees planted along the Easterly lot line. <br /> -Dumpster and Recycling Bin to be depicted on the site plan. <br /> -Perc Tests are required, and the plan should depict 1,000 gallon tank instead of 1,500 on Page <br /> 5 of 6. <br /> -Fire Dept. commented on the ACTUAL size of the building to confirm whether it would <br /> require a sprinkler system. (Needs confirmation). <br /> 14 <br />
