Conservation Department; Project: Pickerel Cove Road/Pickerel Cove Circle -°Open <br />Space Acquisition:, (continued) <br />Possible _Vote ,wtouFund ,Real Estate Appraisat <br />The possible vote to fund a real estate appraisal was held to December 14, 2023. <br />It was noted that a verbal quote for a form appraisal report was received, not to exceed $4,000. <br />This is commonly used by lending institutions. This includes a sales comparison for comparable <br />sales used to arrive at the market value. <br />A full narrative appraisal report would provide more detail for complex or special use properties. <br />An additional a sum not to exceed $2,000 is required for this report to bring forth a total estimate <br />not to exceed $6,000. <br />Schedule Additional CPA Project Applications for Review: <br />The following applications will be reviewed at the next scheduled meeting on Thursday, <br />December 14, 2023; <br />Project: Heritage Park Improvements Phase II <br />Project: Updated of Open Space & Recreation Plan <br />COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br />Correspondence from Town Manager re: Reappointment of Dawn Thaer,to CPC: <br />The Community Preservation Committee was in receipt of communication from Town Manager <br />Rodney C. Collins dated November 3, 2023 relative to the status of CPC member and Finance <br />Director Dawn Thayer. <br />Ms. Thayer submitted her resignation effective February 13, 2023, the effective date accepted by <br />the Select Board on January 11, 2023. <br />It was thus affirmed there are (2) vacancies for the Member At -Large position. The appointing <br />authority is the Select Board. <br />It was agreed the advertisement seeking membership would be open until December 7, 2023. <br />The CPC will conduct interviews for possible appointment at their December 14, 2023 meeting. <br />
