Minutes of Meeting
Plan Review Committee
Tuesday, September 19, 2023
Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room
David Morris Buildin Commissioner
Mr. Morris stated that this is a private road so a curb cut is not required. Mr. Pesce will be
doing a peer review. Mr. Morris requested that the plans be revised prior to the ZBA meeting.
Catherine Laurent DPW Director
Ms. Laurent asked that the driveway radius on each side of the lot to be widened because of
the type of use. The north side of the building drainage does not show the grading, it only
shows spot elevations that might need to be corrected. The drainage should be functional on
this private road, especially if the road becomes Town owned in the future. The back area
shows a light pole but it is not listed in the lighting plans. The rear corner area has drainage
issues located near the "open space".
Drew McManus Conservation A ent
Mr. McManus would like a post and rail fence along the open space area and some natural
vegetation seeding.
Zack Seabur Health A ent
If the proposed building is going from six to eight bays that would be an increase in the flow
of the septic system estimating two people per bay.
David Morris Buildin Commissioner
Mr. Morris requested a ladder sign be included in the proposal for the Design Review
Committee meeting on October 17, 2023.
Mr. Morris asked the members if they are comfortable to move forward with the request. Mr.
Lehrer stated that he will list the recommendations, and it will be up to the Board of Appeals
to approve or disapprove it.
3
