These revisions address the design of the <br /> stairs and a proposed labeling system for easy cleanup in case of storm damage. <br /> 1. The homeowner agrees to have a representative inspect the stairs after a storm and <br /> conduct any necessary cleanup. <br /> 2. Site visits will also be conducted at the town's request, including follow-up with a <br /> Conservation Agent. <br /> 3. Supplemental documents provide details on the structural design rationale. <br /> 4. Natural Heritage has imposed a condition restricting construction to avoid the nesting <br /> season (April I st to August 31 st). <br /> COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS <br /> The following items were discussed regarding the staircase construction: <br /> 1. Labeling: Mr. Colombo inquired about the labeling specifications. Mr. Santos <br /> explained that labels will be placed on the first landing and the stringers/bucks on <br /> the last section of the staircase going down. <br /> 2. Construction Location: Ms. Thornbrugh expressed concerns about the location of <br /> the construction. Mr. Santos assured her that all construction will be done upland, <br /> with the bucks being built off-site. Additionally, all building and digging will be <br /> done by hand. <br /> 3. Pool Water Disposal: Ms. Clapprood suggested adding a condition that addresses <br /> the disposal of pool water. <br /> AGENT COMMENTS <br /> Mr. Kent presented the details of the revised design, emphasizing the project's benefits. <br /> He also addressed concerns about ongoing maintenance by guaranteeing a property manager will <br /> be available year-round to inspect the site. Additionally, Mr. Kent will request that the property <br /> owner or management company conduct site visits within a reasonable timeframe after any storm <br /> event. <br /> Mr. McManus recommends a close and issue with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Incorporation of all Natural Hertiage conditions. <br /> 2. Incorporation of all the protocols relating to storm damage <br /> assessment and repair and identification of structural elements of <br /> the proposed stairway. <br /> 14 <br />
