*CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE MINUTES Monday, April 8, 2024* 2 <br /> that the term of two members shall expire each year. In making appointments to the committee, <br /> the Board of Selectmen shall seek,to the extent possible, persons having experience in the fields <br /> of architecture, engineering, construction, environmental science, real estate, or law. The <br /> seventh member of the committee shall be designated, annually, by the school committee and <br /> may, but need not, be a member of the school committee. <br /> Ex Officio Members: For each project, the Planning and Construction Committee may <br /> recommend appointing staff or other particular expertise to advise the Committee related to that <br /> project. The Planning and Construction Committee may also request the designation of Town <br /> staff with similar expertise to serve in an advisory capacity for a particular project. Any such <br /> request shall be made to the Town Manager for Town employees other than School Department <br /> personnel, and to the Superintendent for School Department personnel. The Town Manager and <br /> Superintendent shall determine the appropriate staff member in each case.
