The current attendees
are Mr. McManus and Mr. Kent.
• New Seabury Golf Course (Kevin Taylor) - The cart path along various sections of the
golf course, especially between the loth and 15th holes, is inaccessible due to wetland
overflow and flooding. The flooding has caused the cart path to deteriorate, and an
erosion mat on the temporary path has been suggested. The temporary alternate path has
become hazardous, and the suggestion to make it permanent by adding hardpack and
elevating it has been made. Creating a new path is not feasible due to space constraints.
Short-term solutions such as pumping water out of the wetland and into another nearby
wetland have been proposed, with concerns raised about the environmental impact.
Additionally, a long-term solution involving the installation of a wood bridge in the area
has been suggested.
DETERMINATION
0 1. The plan is to pump water from one wetland to a another nearby wetland in the
short term, with an update in August or September to find out the status of the
pumping and if there are any new plans for a long-term solution.
0 2. An administrative approval will be drafted for New Seabury Golf Course if the
Commission approves.
0 3. The Agent suggests determining a long-term solution by late fall/winter.
4
