3. Summary of the Coastal Conference held June 18, 2024. <br /> <br />Vice-Chair Harris stated that the Coastal Conference was sponsored by the Waquoit Bay Nation <br />Estuarine Research Reserve. She said the conference was well attended. She stated that it <br />recommended following science in collaboration between Towns and Communities in seeking <br />mutual solutions. Most importantly, finding funding across agencies and Inter-municipal <br />agreements in cooperation. One other important thing that came out of it is that the Town of <br />Mashpee is on track. <br /> <br />4. Reorganization of the Sewer Commission. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Joe Lyons to recommend Meredith Harris as Chair of the Sewer <br />Commission. <br />Motion seconded by Al Towle. <br /> <br /> VOTE: Passed 4-0-0 <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> <br />Catherine Casteneda, Yes <br />Joe Lyons, Yes <br />Al Towle, Yes <br />Meredith Harris, Yes <br /> <br />A motion was made by Joe Lyons to propose changing the date and time of future Sewer <br />Commission meetings. <br />Motion seconded by Catherine Castaneda. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed preferred days and times to hold Sewer Commission meetings. <br />Vice-Chair Harris said that she will check on meeting room availability and will determine if the <br />first and third Thursday of the month or second and fourth Thursday of the month at 2:00pm <br />works best. <br />The Commission agreed that the next Sewer Commission meeting will be either August 1 or <br />August 8 at 2:00pm. <br /> <br />VOTE: Passed 4-0-0 <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> <br />Catherine Casteneda, Yes <br />Joe Lyons, Yes <br />Al Towle, Yes <br />Meredith Harris, Yes <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
