MEETING MINUTES <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> WEDNESDAY,JULY 24, 2024 <br /> Sitting on this hearing are the four regular Board members and Mr. Caggiano. <br /> Chairman Bonvie mentioned to the Board that he is not in conflict with the application. <br /> Mr. David Hirsch, Operations Manager with E.J. Prescott.The business is currently located in the <br /> industrial park and they share the building with the Water District. They would like to move their <br /> business to have more space. <br /> Mr. Reidy read the Conservation Department comments dated July 17, 2024 into the record; "No <br /> comment". The Board of Health Comments dated July 23,2024 into the record; "Wholesale only". <br /> The Board had a discussion regarding the previous business that received a Special Permit for this <br /> building, but they did not pursue their business. The Board knows that the building was well <br /> maintained and has a sprinkler system. The Board also reviewed the zoning information. <br /> Mr. Hirsch stated that they restored the outside pavement, and there are no other changes to the <br /> outside of the building. There is a fence located around the whole property. <br /> Mr. Furbush asked Mr. Morris if there's an issue changing the use from industrial to wholesale. <br /> Mr. Morris said that it requires a Special Permit. <br /> Mr. Bonvie asked for other Board questions, and Mr. Morris. There were no other questions. <br /> Mr. George Boiros an abutter who resides at Deer Crossing Condominiums and is on their Board <br /> of Trustees addressed the Board.He said that Wags Road is a gated road used for emergencies for <br /> the Fire Department. He also mentioned that there are issues with tractor trailer trucks blocking <br /> the road.He wanted to know if the applicants will be changing the road layout. He does not want <br /> the road to be used as a through way. <br /> Mr. Bonvie suggested that Mr. Boiros has a conversation with Mr. Hirsch to discuss any concerns. <br /> Mr. Hirsch said that the road and gate will remain as it is today. <br /> Mr. Gold stein mentioned as one member that this business is very reputable and keeps their facility <br /> clean. Mr. Goldstein suggested that they have a discussion with the Fire Department. <br /> Mr. Hirsch agreed to have a conversation with Mr. Boiros. <br /> Chairman Bonvie asked for any further comments. There were none. He asked for a motion to <br /> close the public hearing. <br /> Mr. Furbush made a motion to close the public hearing. Ms. Sangeleer, so moved. <br /> 2 <br />
