Motion made by Ms. Zollo to authorize up to $3000 for the pollinator garden water <br /> connection. Motion seconded by Ms. Clapprood. <br /> • Roll Call: Mr. O'Neil (Yes), Ms. Zollo (Yes), Ms. Clapprood(Yes), Mr. <br /> Dalton (Yes), Mr. Colombo (Yes) <br /> The motion passes unanimously. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> • Chopchaque Bog Wetland Restoration Project—Mr. McManus presents the results of <br /> the Ground Penetrating Radar Survey to the Commission as well as a revision to the <br /> schedule and highlights key points from the previous night's Selectboard meeting. <br /> UPDATES <br /> • Red Brook Road Culvert—Mr. McManus reports ongoing grant research aimed at <br /> securing funding for the planning,permitting, and construction of the box culvert. He will <br /> be attending the Seabrook Village Association meeting in early September. The Board of <br /> Selectman have been briefed on the project's progress. Potential grant sources have been <br /> identified, and efforts are underway to explore the application process and deadlines. <br /> • Upper Quashnet Restoration—Mr. McManus,reports this is an ongoing planning <br /> phase for full restoration and the Horsley Witten Groupis actively collecting data and <br /> developing conceptual plans for the for the restoration project. Dates for the upcoming <br /> bylaw review subcommittee meeting will be distributed promptly. <br /> Johns Pond and Santuit Pond Milfoil—Mr. McManus informs that we are currently <br /> awaiting post-treatment survey results for Johns Pond. He emphasizes that there are <br /> approximately 3.5 to 4 acres with remaining milfoil remnants from the initial treatment. <br /> The next course of action involves consulting with the Water& Wetlands LLC to devise <br /> a strategy for Santuit Pond. Once finalized, a Notice of Intent application will be <br /> submitted to the DEP for permitting. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> a00 <br /> NOI <br /> 491 Great Oak Road, Town of Mashpee. Proposed improvement dredging of Great <br /> River and Little River. Rep:BSC Group, Inc. The dredging is <br /> proposed to a depth of-5 at Mean Low Water and a pay depth of-6 at Mean Low Water. A <br /> hydro survey was completed using a boat sonar system to identify areas with inadequate depth. <br /> 2 <br />
