401 Nathan Ellis Highway (continued)

Tom Fudala pointed out that the picture of the awning/roof doesn’t match elevations that were
given to the board. Dino said to do drawing is an expense so he is showing photo just to show
what awning/roof looks like.
Tom Fudala pointed out that this is suppose to be a formal review of what is to be submitted to
th
the Planning Board meeting on December 5.
Walter said the concept is fine, but Design Review needs site plan and elevation plan. Design
Review is requesting to see how the proposed building looks with other buildings on the site.
He said Design Review needs exterior elevation plan showing front and side along with
buildings that are there. It has to be accurate.
Catherine Laurent commented that the other plan has stairs and interior railing which is not on
this elevation.

Conclusion

Design Review: Jonathan Furbush motioned to continue to December 4, 2012; Walter Yarosh
seconded the motion; and it was passed.

Plan Review: Joyce Mason motioned to continue to December 4, 2012; Catherine Laurent seconded
the motion; and it was unanimously passed by Plan Review.

46 Nicoletta’s Way
Lisa J. McAdams
Request for a Doggy Daycare

Lisa McAdams appeared.

Joel Clifford requested Knox box be placed on the building to access the gates.
Animals will be at the site overnight.
Now that 2 units combined, may have to change unit numbers.
Lisa McAdams provided a copy of the ZBA decision … copy attached to printed set of these
minutes. Tom Fudala commented that this matter should have come to Plan Review before
ZBA acted.
Ronnie Warden stated Board of Health granted license with no restrictions at last BOH
meeting.
No pit bulls or certain breeds that don’t get along will be allowed at the daycare.
Outside area is 38X30; and 6 foot fence on an angle so they can get at gas line to read meter.
Walk-around for Fire Department and gates on each side.
Animals play inside mostly…outside just to relieve.
Wireless camera monitors dogs.
Attendant goes in at night to let dogs out.

Motion: Tom Fudala motioned Plan Review to approve Doggy Daycare request; Catherine Laurent
seconded the motion; and it was unanimously approved by Plan Review Committee.

2
