The Committee talked about different <br /> ways to present the map on the-front cover, back cover and inside the guide book. <br /> Sid made the suggestion that in order to attract industry from all over Massachusetts <br /> a star on the map would show Mashpee's relation to the whole state. <br /> The Committee is-considering color or two-toned photos for the book. <br /> Nelson will ask again at New Seabury if they have a suitable color photo that could <br /> be used for the guide book and will also ask if it's necessary to get written permission <br /> from them if they use a photo supplied by them. <br /> Sid had some questions about some of the copy received from individual <br /> departments; such as, the input from the lire Department might be too long and <br /> perhaps included unnecessary information and the Planning and Building <br /> Inspector's sections might be too "wordy." The Committee discussed this and made <br /> some changes. <br /> Tom made some editing changes that Sid had requested-and showed Sid these <br /> changes. Copies of the latest version of the guide book were given to all members of <br /> the Committee for final review. Sid felt it was important to be correct and that it <br /> was important that the Committee not rush the book into production without a <br /> final review. <br /> The guide book is estimated to cost approximately $3,000. <br /> Tom told the Committee that he had gone to Wareham to look at aerial photos for <br /> the guide book but was unable to find any suitable for the Committee's purposes. <br /> The Committee decided not to put individual member's names on the guide book <br /> 3 <br />
