MINUTES March 4 , 1993 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Greelish stated he would vote favorably for the <br /> variance request however, warned Mr. Zeppenfeld against mak- <br /> ing the same mistake again. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a 7' State variance from the <br /> leaching facility to the foundation as requested, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> Bob Paltz . B.F.I . - Recycling <br /> Mr. Paltz was in attendance for this scheduled appoint- <br /> ment. <br /> Mr. Paltz presented a recycling proposal to the Board <br /> and relayed his recommendations for improvements at the <br /> present recycling facility. <br /> Discussion took place regarding the size roll-offs which <br /> would handle the various recyclables -and 'monthly fees. <br /> Mr. Paltz stated all items. are 100% recyclable. , "The <br /> contractual agreement would be for any length of time which , <br /> is agreeable to both parties. " ' <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Mr. Paltz as to whether he will pro- <br /> vide quarterly reports 'of tonnage. , <br /> Mr. Paltz responded he would provide monthly or quar- <br /> terly reports." <br /> Mr. McQuaid questioned Mr. Paltz as to whether they <br /> would provide for removal of white goods, tires, batteries, <br /> etc. <br /> Mr. Paltz responded, his company could expand to include <br /> removal of those items. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Ed Pesce - 84 Cayuga Avenue <br /> Mr. Pesce was in attendance for this scheduled appoint- <br /> ment. There were no abutters in attendance. <br /> Mr. Pesce presented certified mail receipts to the Board <br /> and stated, "Revised plans include relocation of the on-site <br /> well and abutting wells located within 150' of the proposed <br /> leaching facility. " <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a 31' local variance from <br /> abutting well , (lot 11 Cayuga Avenue) , to the proposed <br /> on-site leaching facility, a 24' local variance from abutting <br />
