" "Of the nine samples taken five were <br /> above recommended limit ranging from .5 to 3 . 5 p.p.m. . " <br /> "They were sporadic throughout the park. " <br /> Mr. Doherty questioned whether any efforts were made to <br /> correct the problem. <br /> Mr. Haney responded, "I did consult with an engineer to <br /> clean out the pipes. " "I do plan to hookup to town water in <br /> three years. " <br /> Mr. Doherty informed Mr. Haney, "Three years is to <br /> long. " <br /> Mr. Haney commented, "The park is in better condition <br /> than it was with the previous owner." <br /> Mr. Doherty informed Mr. Haney, "The water must meet the <br /> Safe Water Drinking Act standards. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. Haney has not complied with <br /> conditions for well and septic upgrades as agreed. " <br /> Mr. Aldridge stated, "Mr. Haney has ignored the letters <br /> I have forwarded to him. " "I even sent them to his Boston <br /> address. " <br /> Mr. Haney commented, "I never received the letters at my <br /> mailing address." <br /> Mr. Bengal questioned why her water was not tested. <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "Water tests were conducted ran- <br /> domly. " Mr. McQuaid agreed to test Ms. Bengal's water at no <br /> charge. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I spoke with Town Counsel and the <br /> Attorney General's office in regards to this Board's author- <br /> ity. " "We may revoke the license and fine Mr. Haney for each <br /> day of noncompliance. " <br /> Mr. Haney commented, "I have been working with an engi- <br /> neering firm for the possible construction of a treatment <br /> plant. " "That is why I am waiting to upgrade the septic sys- <br /> tems. " "I have made repairs on the septic system servicing <br /> units #1 & #2 . " <br /> Mr. Doherty informed Mr. Haney that he must retain an <br /> engineer to layout a new distribution system. "You may want <br /> the engineer to begin replacing sections of the system that <br /> will meet Water District requirements. " <br />
