`✓ w <br /> MINUTES September 29, 1994 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Ball directed the agent to obtain a copy of the original contract from the <br /> Water District and contact Mr. Bowen to proceed with the petition. <br /> Board members agreed once they review the contract they will request a meeting <br /> with the Selectmen to discuss the matter. <br /> 4.) Perc extension request 128 Shore Drive West - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The last <br /> pert was June 11, 1993." "The owner is requesting a six month pert extension." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a six month pert extension from date of expiration, <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 5.) Variance request. 2 Metacom Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The topography of <br /> the lot is very awkward that is the reason for the location of the proposed leach pit." "The <br /> owner is requesting two local variances; 45' from abutting well (lot 119H) to the <br /> proposed on-site leaching facility and 36' from abutting well (lot 196) to the proposed on- <br /> site leaching facility." "The owners of lot 119H have made application for water service." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the local variances as stated by Mr. McQuaid, Mr. <br /> Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Perc extension request - 22 County Road <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The lot has been perked twice, once in 1990 and again in <br /> 1993." "The owner is requesting a one year extension however, I would recommend a 6 <br /> month extension from the date of expiration." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a 6 month pert extension from date of expiration, Mr. <br /> Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Discussion <br /> A. Weston & Sampson service for High School Building Committee - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed, "I met with the High School Building Committee to discuss the treatment plant." <br /> "In my opinion, the Committee is at odds with itself and the architects as they are <br /> questioning whether or not they will represent the town's best interests in requesting a <br /> variance from D.E.P. to downsize the plant." "Mr. Greelish and I were asked to supply <br /> the calculations and figures that D.E.P. requires to make a decision as to whether or not <br />
